Directions to Pilgrim Congregational Church

Pilgrim church is located at 460 Lake Street near the corner of Lake and Ridgeland, in Oak Park, Illinois.

By Public Transportation
Pilgrim is just a one block walk north and west from the Ridgeland Station of the Greenline "EL" train. Metra stops in Oak Park at Harlem just south of Lake, a healthy 10 block walk east. In addition, the 913 PACE bus stops right in front of Pilgrim.

By Car
If you are coming from out of town, the fastest way to get to Pilgrim is to take I-290, the Eisenhower Expressway. See the map and directions below.

From the West

Exit I-290 at Harlem Ave. (Remember Harlem is a left hand exit!!)

From the exit ramp, turn north (left) onto Harlem, and go about 1 mile to Lake Street.

Turn right on Lake, going through "downtown" Oak Park, past the library, Oak Park Ave. and East Ave.

At East Ave. you will see Oak Park River Forest High School on your left. The church is just past the high school on the left.

From from the East (Chicago)

Exit I-290 at Austin Blvd. (Remember Austin is a left hand exit!!)

From the exit ramp, turn north (right) on Austin, and go about 1 mile to Lake Street.

Turn left onto Lake and continue 1/2 mile past Ridgeland Ave. (You will see the public park there on your left.) The church is one block past Ridgeland, on your right.
